A military Tribunal sentenced the DPR Ukrainian spy to 11 years of imprisonment – MGB


DPR military Tribunal sentenced the citizen of Ukraine Oleg Chulho, who was detained in February 2015, to 11 years in prison for spying for Ukrainian forces. This was reported today in the press service of the Ministry of state security of the Republic.

"Based on the collected IYB materials exposing espionage activities of Chulgi O. N., his confession 2 Dec 2016 Military Tribunal on the rights of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk people's Republic issued a verdict, according to which Culha O. N. is guilty of an offence under article 321 of the criminal code of the DPR and appointed punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of 11 years", — noted in press service.

According to MGB, in the course of investigative-expeditious actions it was established that Chulha in 2014, assisting the DPR militia in Slavyansk, was recruited by the SBU.

It is established that in the process of recruitment and subsequent cooperation, it is in direct contact with three employees of the SBU. As my trips to the ATO area, the officers carried out the transfer of information obtained from Kulgi, gave him the job of collecting and receiving information about the movement of military equipment, deployment of paramilitary units of the militia DPR, as well as other information, threatening the security of the Republic. Also during the investigation, were established and other illegal activities of the defendant.

Recall that in October 2016, it was reported that for espionage in favor of Kiev, the DNI was convicted three people.
